I have decided to create this blog as a kind of scrapbook of my baking activities and ideas! I have been planning a wedding for the last year and thought a new project would be a good idea. Inspired by the delicious sugary treats I ate on my honeymoon and the dozens of cookery books on my bookshelves I have decided to stretch myself a little further and try a few new recipes and techniques. I’ve attached some photos of cakes from Hong Kong including an amazing wedding cake I saw in a cake shop – a work of art!

We had some French inspired chocolate cake in the Agnes B cafe – mmm!

We were treated to honeymoon cakes and a special dessert trio in Felix Restaurant at the top of the Penninsula Hotel.
