If you need a sugar fix these will hit the spot! They are an American style cookie packed full of chocolate chips and are slightly chewy in the middle. I found the recipe on line (click here for the link) and decided to try it as it had loads of good reviews. It makes a large amount of dough so I have frozen some of it for a rainy day. I think the trick is not to over cook them. They seems soft when they come out of the oven but after a few minutes resting on the baking tray they firm up a lot and have the right texture. It would be easy to adapt the recipe to vary the flavours. I might just have one with a cup of tea now…
