I’m always a bit nervous about making pastry but my last couple of attempts have turned out well. Although it’s a bit tricky trying to roll it out on a scrap of work surface in between the kettle and toaster! I need a bigger kitchen! I used Mary Berry’s recipe for pâte sucrée and filled the tartlets with sweetened whipped cream and strawberries. To make the tartlets extra sweet and shiny I glazed them with warmed raspberry jam. Perfect to enjoy whilst watching Wimbledon!
