My sister and I did some baking this weekend and made Mary Berry's Banana & Chocolate Chip cupcakes. We went with the banoffee pie vibe and topped them with fluffy vanilla buttercream and a drizzle of homemade butterscotch sauce. They were lovely!

I used half of the following recipe for the butterscotch sauce and there was still lots left over to have with ice cream! Once cooled I left the sauce in the fridge for an hour before drizzling over the cupcakes so it was a thicker consistency.
